CL Bennett

Born in the United Kingdom in 1973. CL Bennett studied art and printmaking and worked in London, the United States and France.

After many years of being urged to write a book about her own growing family's day to day haphazard escapades, she found inspiration to put pen to paper one summer after a chance visit to the eccentric and charming fishing port of Brixham in Devon.

With a tremendously silly name in mind, the glorious world of the Bugglepuff's and the Magic Key was borne.

Two years later on the 1st April 2014 the first book was published.

On Saturday 28th March 2015, CL Bennett became an International Award Winning Children's author winning the Pre-Teen Fiction award at the Beverly Hills Book Awards in LA, USA.

A tremendously exciting moment for the author and reader!
