William Konrad

William Konrad was born in Bexhill-on-sea, a small but fashionable coastal town generally regarded as the St. Tropez of Sussex. His father was Polish. He qualified in medicine from Guy's Hospital, London and now works as a doctor in Essex. He has a literary wife who offers constructive criticism and two children who are somewhat more liberal with their criticism. His books explore the past and the future, as the current world is beyond his comprehension.

In his spare time he canoes competitively and drinks real ale.
