Daniel Hay

I am an avid classical music composer. One of my instrumental solo pieces was the inspiration for my story, "The Lost Lullaby," and has the same name. I enjoy writing stories for children and especially for parents or grandparents to read to them.

My stories and my music are created mostly so that my grandchildren will have a part of me at hand. They are created as entertainment and should be fun to read and morally supportive without being overbearing.

Where do I get my ideas? Mostly from a sleep-deprived, overactive imagination. At one time, I lived in a one-room cabin, much like a one-room schoolhouse, only smaller.

An enduring goal of mine is to be the first person living on Mars.

Oh, and "...thanks for all the fish." ("Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy," Douglas Adams)
