Jeffrey Goldstein

Jeff Goldstein, after setting goals and persevering past the pain of his childhood abuse, achieved the life that he had dreamed of as a boy. He had a fulfilling career as a high school teacher and coach, and a loving wife and two wonderful sons. Jeff had never spoken of the distressing events of his childhood until one of his students shared with him the story of their abuse and the devastating effects that it had on them. When Jeff told the student about what he had overcome, the student was incredulous. "You mean that it is possible to go through this horror and end up as a successful adult, like you?" This reaction inspired Jeff to write his memoir, CAUGHT IN THE UNDERTOW, and to donate all proceeds from this book to agencies that help abused children. Jeff hopes that his story will help motivate others to overcome the obstacles in their lives.
