Great books being the product of great minds led me to wonder who is the greatest mind of all time? Based on IQ? To my surprise, not Darwin, Galileo, Michelangelo or Einstein but an unknown European woman with an astonishing score of 265, a quantum leap over them all. Yet unheard of and working as a prostitute. The inspiration for my novels, The Girl in the Freezer and Deadline.

BarCats is an ode to Buffalo, New York, the sixties, and characters I have known. Killdeer, my latest story, finds a female protagonist evading the FBI and a fanatical Priest while uncovering a client’s secrets.

Dear Dad, a departure from my fabrications, is the true story of an adolescent facing the most frightening event of his young life. That adolescent is my son.
