James Gawley

James Gawley is a postdoctoral researcher in the Faculté des Lettres at Sorbonne University. He has taught at Miami-Dade College, SUNY Buffalo, and St. Bonaventure University. His research covers the way ideas can be traced down through the literary tradition from Greek to Latin to French, with a particular focus on the computational analysis of poetry and the cognitive functions underlying literary allusion. He is a terrible cook.
