I am one of those lucky people. I have done many things on my voyage through life, including ten years as a pilot in the United States Army flying helicopters (where I met my wife, we celebrate 23 years married in November). After the military, I worked as an operations leader for a manufacturing facility and a regional sales manager for a distribution company (I could put you to sleep discussing how cardboard boxes are made).
We have a 15-year-old daughter that is pretty sure that she is in charge (my wife and I are basically along for the ride). We have 2 cats (one of which is free to a good home...I tease). We call the Pacific Northwest home.
My love of reading led to my passion for writing. I hope that I never think of my journey as a writer complete to the point that I stop continuously trying to improve my craft. I attend conferences often to be surrounded by other writers and to learn how they do their magic.
