Peter Barber is a well-seasoned traveller. The vast majority of Peter's trips have taken place since he retired in his mid 50's in 2006. He has travelled extensively throughout Africa and Europe. He has not only travelled for pleasure but also followed his passion and volunteered in wildlife conservation in Kenya and Namibia. He also developed a second career as a wildlife photographer with his photos being used in calendars and books. This blend of travel for pleasure, as well as volunteering later in life gives Peter a unique understanding and appreciation for the roadblocks facing the mature traveller.
