Mark Deutsch (last name is pronounced DOYCH - since I suspect that's not one you see every day!) has been in your shoes. During his ~30-year professional career, Mark has started or operated more than a dozen companies ranging from a landscaping business (while in middle school) to a medical billing software company (during the dot-com boom). He has been involved at a C-level with businesses that had 1 to 100 employees; start-up to mature stages; with companies that succeeded and others that failed. After learning some valuable lessons in the school of hard knocks, Mark has determined that your most valuable business asset is your personal and professional network.

Mark moved to Richmond, VA from Orlando, FL in 1993, knowing no one except the manager of the company he was coming to work for. Today he is fortunate to have a personal and professional network without equal, and Mark is a Master Networker, Author, Speaker, Trainer, Seminar Leader, and lifelong Entrepreneur.

The son of German immigrants who survived forced labor camps after WW II, Mark cut his teeth in an environment of hard work, survival, overcoming obstacles, and bootstrapping. He built his first multi-million dollar company before he was 30 years old, lost it, and has bounced back. Mark has authored hundreds of articles and has spoken hundreds of times to trade associations, business organizations, and professional groups on the topics of business administration/management, entrepreneurship, networking, sales, and marketing. Mark received his MBA, Summa Cum Laude, from Averett University, and is a graduate of the University of Central Florida.

When not working, Mark spends as much time as possible with his very understanding family - Henly (his lovely and talented wife), his sons, Jack & Davis, and Jasper (our rescue mutt). He is also a competitive tennis player and community activist as a Rotarian. The Deutsch family lives in Richmond, VA and they love to travel whenever possible.
