J. Kirsch

J. Kirsch is an avid writer, traveler, and dog lover. He grew up near Chicago raised by two librarians with a love for storytelling, and his adventures have taken him to Japan, China, Scotland, New Zealand, and beyond. He has published 3 different series and more than 35 titles overall, including a variety of novels, novellas, and short stories.

J. Kirsch is a Jacksonville Public Library ‘Author of the Year’ award winner and a longtime contributor to the Hugo Award-Winning project, Archive of Our Own. He has been featured in Morgan Hazelwood’s ‘Author Spotlight,’ as well as The Book Cave, and received praise from a Black Orchid Award winner. His works have reached the ‘New Adult’ bestseller lists for both Amazon and Smashwords. His 2026 novel, A Reckoning and Rebirth, became a top Amazon bestseller in its category of science fiction and fantasy.

He currently lives in Oxford, Ohio with his talented wife, an Australian shepherd mix, and far too many bookcases -- the kind with shelves that groan with books, puzzles, and board games uncountable.
