Jack Crabtree

Jack O. Crabtree is the author of the Becknor series. His first book, Defenders of Becknor, was published in 2017 and is currently working on the follow-up, King of Becknor. In the meantime, Jack has released the first book in a companion novella series, Achelon of Becknor. Part One: The Gambit is now available, Part Two: The Self-Set Trap is set to follow later in 2019.

Jack calls southern West Virginia home. In a perpetual pun of his first name, Jack has tried his hand at several different activities. From a teacher's assistant to an assistant manager at a local, possibly haunted, movie theater. His most challenging task yet is learning to be a cat herder (Yes, one cat can be a herd unto itself).

An eighteen year cancer survivor, an experience that helped to increase his faith, Jack learned that it is wise to appreciate each day as they come. Life is never going to be the smoothest road, but it is important to enjoy the journey when you can, learn the lessons each challenge brings, and try to be a help to your fellow travelers.
