Michael Mitnick

Michael Mitnick is the writer of Scotland, PA (Roundabout, NYT Critics’ Pick), Fly By Night (Drama Desk-nominated Best Musical, Playwrights Horizons), Sex Lives of Our Parents (Second Stage), The Siegel (South Coast Rep), Ed, Downloaded (Denver Center), and Spacebar (The Wild Project).

He wrote the screenplays for The Giver and The Current War. His songs have been performed at Lincoln Center, The Guggenheim, Joe’s Pub, 54 Below, and featured on HBO.

Mitnick holds a BA from Harvard and an MFA in Playwriting from the Yale School of Drama.
