Peter Faletra

Peter Faletra received his Ph.D. from Boston University for his work on mammalian stem cells. He was the co-founder of a biotechnology company that developed and sold immunological products for clinical use in humans. He has worked in a wide variety of professions including x-ray systems design, musician, and educator. His longest stretch was his years at the US Department of Energy's Office of Science where he served as a Senior Science Advisor and Director of Workforce Development. He has received numerous awards for his work in the sciences and mentoring of science undergraduate students. Peter Faletra and his wife live in the White Mountains of New Hampshire.
