Vinay Capila

Born in 1943, Vinay Capila completed his schooling and college in New Delhi. Through his forty odd years of working life he lived at various locations in India and travelled all over the country and abroad.

Over the long years of working life in the commercial field, he retained his passion for writing – towards the later years mainly short stories and essays. The manuscripts, however, lay unattended till he retired. Then, with time on hand, he started editing and saving them on his computer. Since then he has published four books: two compilations of short stories, one of poems and a novel based on the tragic exodus of the Kashmiri Pandits from their homeland, Kashmir. The fifth one now, "Sloper's Dilemma and other Tales" is a rehash of earlier short stories with editions in Kindle and Amazon.
