Fiona Pullen

Fiona Rose (formerly Pullen) is the founder of The Sewing Directory and a freelance journalist writing for several craft titles. With a background in law she loves to research and learn, spending the last 15 years learning everything she can about running a creative business. She sold The Sewing Directory in 2025 and is now running a business in the events industry.

After sharing her knowledge through industry publications and one to one training sessions she decided to write her first book - Craft a Creative Business. The book went to a second print run within a couple months and the updated second edition was published in August 2018. The second edition has a new name: Making & Marketing a Successful Art & Crafts Business.
