Jon Waskan

Jon Waskan received his Ph.D. from Washington University's Philosophy-Neuroscience-Psychology Ph.D. program, worked briefly at William Paterson University, and later earned tenure at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where he also held a post at the Beckman Institute for Advanced Science and Technology. Prior to surrendering tenure early (Jon claims he's the only philosopher ever to do so), he penned his first novel, COLD TRAP. Its warm reception left Jon wishing that he could develop the many other fiction ideas he had brainstormed over the years. In 2018, he found himself in the perfect position to do just that. Since then, he has been writing and caring for his family as his lovely and generous wife supports him by building explosive separation devices for space-bound rockets.
