Meg Glidden

The old bio is lovely in intention, but it still introduces you as someone dreaming of becoming a writer. The updated version should establish that you already are one—and communicate the through-line connecting your books.

Meg Glidden is a writer, educator, and longtime yoga teacher whose work explores the rich, complicated terrain of being human. Drawing from her background in mental health education, more than a decade of teaching yoga, and a lifelong fascination with psychology, philosophy, creativity, and personal transformation, she writes about the ways we make meaning, reclaim ourselves, and grow into fuller expressions of who we are.

Her work moves comfortably between thoughtful reflection, embodied wisdom, archetypal exploration, and humor—because the human experience is rarely only one thing. Whether she is examining identity and reinvention, exploring the many dimensions within us, or finding levity in life’s more bewildering chapters, Meg writes with curiosity, honesty, and a deep respect for the complexity of real people.

A lifelong resident of Northwest Florida, Meg finds continual inspiration in the white sands, wild weather, and rolling waters of the Emerald Coast. When she is not writing, she can often be found teaching yoga, walking near the water, taking photographs, reading whatever has captured her attention, or following an interesting question farther than she originally intended.
