John Casto

Chaplain John Casto is living his life-long dream to serve as a Chaplain ministering to the veterans of wars and those facing the final transition. The dream began as a young man while serving as a Youth Minister just out of seminary. The next assignment found him and his wife traveling the nation and internationally conducting prayer seminars and conferences before founding Church on the Rock in San Diego. With each new assignment, the Chaplaincy was always a consideration but never the right time. John is himself a Veteran of Vietnam, his Dad of WWII and Korea. He holds a MDiv. and is board certified with The Association of Certified Christian Chaplains and now serves as a Hospice Chaplain in San Diego. John has been married to his wife Kathy for 48 years. Together they enjoy life’s transitions, challenges and rewards. They have 2 daughters and 3 grandchildren. All live in San Diego. One final thought ...
