Virginia McClain

Virginia McClain is an author who finally stopped masquerading as a wayward language teacher and switched to writing full time in Winnipeg, Manitoba. (Why Winnipeg? No one is sure, but it seemed like a good idea at the time.) When she's not writing she can often be found climbing to the top of large rocks, running on trails, backpacking, and generally engaging in any excuse to go play outside. Since moving to the Great White North she has added long distance ice skating to her list of outdoor adventures (seriously, whole rivers freeze up here!), but when it's warm out she likes to revive her old canoe skills when she can. She lives with her husband, one tiny human they made from scratch, and their furry, canine companion Artemis.
