James Turnage

Forced to retire in 2008, and when the panic attacks ceased, I turned to my first love; writing. I have always been an avid reader, but doubted I could complete a novel of my own. I began by writing a prologue, loosely based on my 20 years in the Northern Nevada casinos. ("Write what you know"). The novel began to write itself. I completed and published "A Little Murder in the Biggest Little City" in 2012. My next effort was "The Holiday Killer," published in 2013. I published my 3rd, "A Brother's Revenge" on July 4th, 2014. The Trilogy involves Reno, Nevada detectives and their efforts to capture three serial killers. There is also insight into the area and the casinos.

My fourth novel is titled "Sheena: Queen of the Streets." It is suitable for teens and older, and will appeal to young women. The main character is a runaway girl who lives on the beaches of Southern California. Her courage, and zest for life will make the reader smile.

I now have a fifth novel; "Four More Years." It is an adventure involving the world of politics, and the maturation of 'Larry McDonald.' It's a quick read and informative as well as being a good story.

My sixt novel is called "DOWN FROM THE MOUNTAIN." This is more fun every time!

My life is full of joy, continuing to write novels, maintaining my blog; https://thetruthwithnorestriction.wordpress.com/

I now have seven novels on Amazon Prime. The latest is "DOING THE RIGHT THING FOR GOD AND COUNTRY." This story is relevant to today and focuses on three American families struggling with changes in their country they find unacceptable and pesonally destructive. The decision of the three patriarchs to change the future result in the alteration of the future of America. I believe that readers will find it both satisfying and surprising.
