John Pound

John Pound began his art career by drawing underground comics, and helped start the San Diego Comic-Con.

He has painted art prints, book covers, comic covers, posters, skateboards, trading cards, and hundreds of Topps Garbage Pail Kids stickers. He has also painted Wacky Packages, Meanie Babies, and Silly CDs stickers and trading cards.

His artwork has been published in BLAB, MAD, and Juxtapoz magazines, and in books including American Illustration, Garbage Pail Kids (Abrams), Mars Attacks (Abrams), and Morning Wood (Gingko Press).

For his experimental art projects, he writes code that draws instant random art books, posters, and animations.

He lives and works in Northern California.
