Mario Herger

Since 2001, I have been living in Silicon Valley, this innovative region in California where the future is already being developed today. Here I research technology trends and their impact on people, society, economy, and politics.

The topics I focus on—and on which I have written several books, as well as given lectures and led workshops—include, among others, humanoid robots, autonomous and electric mobility, artificial intelligence, physical AI, the digital revolution, as well as the innovative and creative mindset and the foresight mindset, which help us look to the future and make better decisions today.

For many years, I worked at SAP as a software developer, development manager, and technology strategist; I served as a mentor in accelerator programs to coach startups; and I advise companies on how they can bring the innovative and entrepreneurial spirit of Silicon Valley into their organizations to become more innovative, identify trends and tipping points early on, and help shape them.

I host delegations from Europe in Silicon Valley and connect them with the people and companies there.
