Eric Bauer, EdD, MBA, FP-C, CCP-C, WP-C, C-NPT, CEO of FlightBridgeED, LLC, brings more than 30 years of experience in Emergency Medical Services, with over two decades dedicated to the Helicopter EMS industry. Holding a Doctorate of Education in Healthcare Education, Eric is an internationally recognized author, speaker, and educator who has become a trusted voice in advancing critical care practice.

His expertise has been shared through numerous international speaking engagements on critical care topics, alongside his authorship of more than 290 critical care podcasts. These podcasts focused on pre-hospital and transport medicine, have been downloaded more than 6.5 million times worldwide, underscoring his global reach and influence in the field.

Eric’s contributions to transport medicine and education have been honored with multiple awards, including the 2017 EMSWORLD Innovation Award for Ventilator Management: A Pre-hospital Perspective and the Mechanical Ventilation Course, and the 2018 John Jordan Award for Excellence in Transport Medicine Journalism from the Air & Surface Transport Nurses Association. He made history as the first paramedic to be named an Honorary Fellow of the Academy of Air & Surface Transport Nurses, a recognition of his pioneering influence. Most recently, he was named the 2023 NAEMT/Jones & Bartlett Learning Public Safety Group EMS Educator of the Year and received the 2024 Tim Hynes Award from the International College of Advanced Practice Paramedics.
