Katherine Hedlund

Katherine Hedlund, cancer survivor since 2000, fully understands the emotions, fears, and questions facing the cancer sufferer. Faithful Warrior is a result of her commitment to prayer journaling intertwined with her love for God’s word. Katherine’s writing is honest, encouraging, and laced with tears. She knows what it is like to fight for her own personal healing. She knows what it is like to beg God’s mercy and grace for others battling this terrible disease.

Because of this first-hand knowledge, she has written a book that gives comfort, encouragement, and hope to those whose lives have been affected by cancer.

Born and raised in Southern California, Katherine now resides in Rochester Hills, Michigan with her husband, Gary, her “just-around-the-corner” adult children, Eric, Holly and Bryce, and her sweet grandsons, Austin and Jacob.
