Hi!

Years ago I was a reluctant salsa dancer. My problem was simple. One, I didn't know how to dance salsa. Two, when I tried to learn my mind and my feet failed to communicate making me self-conscious on the salsa dance floor. Three, if anyone was looking at me on the dance floor me or dancing with me, I was a mess, dancing off-beat, stepping on partners' toes, and feeling like I fish out of water. This made me a reluctant salsa dancer.

After taking salsa dance lessons in studios and clubs, I was pleased with my progress. The deejays, willing dance partners, and bands kept me enthusiastic, happy and willing to dance with the next dancer. But it didn't last long. The farther away from the dance floor I got, the more I was forgetting what I had learned an hour ago. By the time I made it home from the club or studio and tried those moves in my kitchen I needed another lesson.

Months later I learned how to dance salsa. Then I found myself teaching friends how to dance salsa. I provided them with something I didn't get from a club or studio lessons. What I gave them resulted in these two books:

The Salsa Dancing Game for Men, the ABCs

The Salsa Dancing Game for Women, the ABCs
