Mr. Paul Dellinger

Started by reading comic books, then trying to draw them. Graduated to magazines, paperbacks, later hardbacks, and started trying to write for them. (Had more success than with the drawing.) Started seeing B-western double features every weekend in grade school, discovered science fiction in the high school library, started trying to write it. Published a bunch of magazine and anthology short stories over the years, most collected in "Mr. Lazarus and Other Stories." Wrote a three-times-a-week comedy-adventure radio serial, "Adventures of Hap Hazard," that ran over a local station for a couple of years. Had plays performed at the West Point Service Club and Virginia's Barter Theater. Retired newspaper reporter, after covering all kinds of things for 40+ years. Live in Wytheville, VA.
