Nigel C Winter is the author of the acclaimed motorcycle odyssey, Travelling With Mr Turner.

Described by the Daily Telegraph as 'Entertaining, educating, humbling, heroic and uplifting', the book was the only "biker" orientated book in the Orwell Book Prize and probably the only one in history to inadvertently solve a missing persons mystery.

And by way of something completely different, Nigel has also published The Quiet Churches of Sussex. This is quirky and personal look at a number of Churches that he cycled to during the lockdown. The fact that the lockdown cleared the roads of traffic, enabled him to see the world as it would have appeared in another era.

The book was written at the start of the year and he visited a church a month, as the seasons and headlines unfolded.
