Amy is a passionate writer, quilt designer, and instructor. An insatiable crafter since birth, she learned to sew as a young girl in 4-H, and has been addicted to patchwork, or as she calls it "coloring with fabric" ever since. Her work can be seen in the Denver Art Museum, McCall's Quilting, Australian Quilter's Companion, American Patchwork & Quilting, and Fat Quarterly, and she was also nominated for the 2014 Instructor of the Year by the International Association of Creative Arts Professionals. A seasoned Craftsy.com instructor, Amy is perhaps most well known for hosting the first Craftsy Block of the Month series in 2012. Amy lives in Denver with her husband, where she's kept on her toes by their delightfully devious twin boy toddlers, a pair of spirited young girls, a rambunctious Husky, and endless mountains of laundry. The secret to squeezing it all in? She isn't sure, but suspects it probably lies somewhere between an incredibly supportive husband, faith, and good coffee. You can follow along with her adventures in sewing and motherhood on her blog, www.stitcherydickorydock.com.
