Joanne K. Singleton

Joanne Singleton, PhD, RN, FNP-BC, is the editor of, and contributor to, numerous professional text books, and is a Fellow in the National Academies of Practice, and the New York Academy of Medicine. She has been the executive producer and director of two documentaries, Butterfly: Transitioning Nursing to the Practice Doctorate and, No Practitioner is an Island. Dr. Singleton has practiced as a nurse and nurse practitioner, as well as a nurse educator for many years. This is her first novel. She lives in Brooklyn, NYC, with her family.
