Eric was born in Glasgow, Scotland, educated there, in Victoria, B.C. and in Northern California. For 25 years he lived in Alaska, where he was a writer-producer-director and on-air personality for public television, was a producer/host for public and commercial radio and a humor columnist for three Alaska periodicals. Eric’s full-length drama SYD was performed at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, and his shorter plays have had staged readings in seven western cities. He's now at work on his sixth novel.
