Melvin Jackson

My name Is Melvin Jackson. I am from a small town in Alabama. While growing up, my favorite pastimes were reading, writing and basketball. Reading and basketball always took me to another place, while I always felt I could express myself better through writing than with speaking.

The same month I graduated high school, I joined The Army and spent most of my eight year stint in Washington D. C.

After my service I moved to California where I met my wife and have two kids.

My goal is to write books and blogs that help people. Especially the seemingly unemployable, such as: Disabled, Veterans, and previously incarcerated individuals. I believe everybody deserves a second chance. And maybe a third.
