Stephen J. Beard

Stephen J. Beard is a tour guide in Historic Charleston, SC. Throughout his life, he has been fascinated by what happens when things go really, really bad. That would include, obviously, the zombie apocalypse.

His first zombie novel, Dead of Knight, chronicles a seldom explored area of zombie fiction: What happens to a regular, normal family if the zombie apocalypse really does occur? Can someone without military training survive?

Stephen lives with his wife, a crazy dog and two cats.
