She founded Dr. Deana, Inc., a boutique consultancy that is dedicated to increasing the flourishing of individuals, organizations, and communities. She maintains a private consultancy under the Lead2Flourish theme.
Dr. Deana has a proven skill for translating applied psychology research and providing actionable, evidence-based advice. She has provided coverage for CEOWorld Magazine, ThriveGlobal, Philadelphia Business Journal, O Magazine, SAFM, HuffPost and others.

Dr. Deana earned her Ph.D. in Theological Psychology from Chesapeake Bible College with a focus on personal behavioral application. She continued to explore positive psychology, the science of wellbeing and human flourishing as a post-doctorate student at The Flourishing Center based in New York City.
She visited as a recurring guest lecturer at Temple University along with invitations to keynote and teach in South Africa, Nigeria, London, and New Delhi, India. In 2015 she produced a women’s leadership book titled Resilience, endorse by real estate mogul and shark, Barbara Corcoran.
Philadelphia Business Journal voted her company one of the top minority firms, and Exceptional People Magazine named her one of their top twenty business icons of 2012.
