L.B. "Brigid" Johnson left her home on the West Coast of the U.S. to explore the world from the left seat of a jet. But puzzles beyond what was in her crew meal called to her and she went back to graduate school to get the skills to pursue a career in forensic puzzles - eventually ending up as a federal air crash investigator. Her new career was great, even though it was nothing at all like the TV shows and writing became a way to create and explore the world around her. "The Book of Barkley, published in 2014, became an International Amazon #1 best-seller and was the 2015 Silver Winner of the Reader's Favorite International Book Award, and a B.R.A.G. Medallion Honoree. Her Fiction Book ‘Small Town Roads” was the Reader’s Favorite Gold Medal Winner – Fiction 2017. After writing 4 #1 best sellers and 3 best-selling anthologies with other authors, Brigid retired and is restoring a 1915 Mission Bungalow with her engineer husband when she’s not aloft or working on her 8th book. 100% of all sales proceeds are donated to animal rescue and Search Dog Foundation.
