Wim E. Crusio

I am a behavioral neurogeneticist working in the field of mouse behavioral and neural genetics. I specialize on neurogenetics of the hippocampus and the behavioral phenotyping of mouse models of neurobehavioral disorders. My work experience has been in academic research in The Netherlands, Germany, France, and the US with over 35 years of experience.

In addition to research, I have a large experience in science editing (Handbooks; founding Editor-in-Chief of Genes, Brain and Behavior; Associate Editor or Editorial Board member for several other scientific journals).

My maternal language is Dutch, but I am also fluent in English, German, and French.

Currently, I work as a research director with the French national research council (CNRS) at the Aquitaine Institute of Cognitive and Integrative Neuroscience in Talence (Bordeaux), France.
