Eric Vanderburg

Eric Vanderburg is a cybersecurity executive, consultant, cyber investigator and educator. He has served as an expert witness and frequently speaks on cybersecurity topics. In addition to his work in cybersecurity, he serves on the editorial board for the HITSF Journal and on advisory boards for a number of colleges. Vanderburg has an MBA from Kent State University and several undergraduate degrees. He has also obtained over 40 security and technology certifications.

Eric Vanderburg is a well-known author, blogger, and thought leader. He is best known for his insight on cybersecurity, privacy, data protection, and storage and has published books on storage networking and cloud computing. Vanderburg is passionate about sharing cybersecurity and technology information on strategies, techniques, current events, and best practices. He is also the author of the Dark Omega Gravimancer Chronicles fantasy series and several branching tales novels where your choices shape the direction of the story.

Eric lives in Cleveland, Ohio with his wife and two children. When not working or writing, he enjoys building and refurbishing arcade and pinball machines or adding buildings to his large LEGO city of Novapolis. He is a longtime RPG fan, both the computer and tabletop variety.
