Donna Racheal

New Zealand born, Donna held a passion for animals from an early age. She moved to Melbourne in the late 1980's to pursue her photographic career, specialising in both domestic and native species. Furthering her education in Wildlife Care and Management, Natural Pet Therapy and Freelance Journalism, Donna is grateful to have travelled to many places where she came into close contact with some amazing wildlife - including the wonderful Orang-utans, Polar Bears in their natural landscape and closer to home, Kangaroo Island just before the devastating fires. To date Donna has self-published a series of books on caring for Australian Wildlife, Photographic Travel books, as well as a children's story. Currently running her own business producing natural pet treats and health care products for dogs and cats, plus now chickens, Donna feels fortunate to have personally set up a self-sufficient property in the beautiful Yarra Valley, Victoria with her beloved menagerie.
