Dominik Frühmann

Hello, my name is Dominik Frühmann. I was born on December 15, 1972, in Starnberg, Bavaria, and have been living in Salzburg for over 40 years now. Since the age of ten, I have been writing stories that deal with the world of the paranormal. Often, my heroes come from the animal kingdom... and not just because I am fascinated by foxes, wolves, and horses. Behind it often lies the idea that beings with different abilities can collaborate to face threats of various kinds. However, I don't only write "classic" fantasy, horror, and ghost stories. Occasionally, I want to emulate my greatest idol among writers, William Shakespeare, and write "theater-like" tragedies such as "Fire and Starlight," which not coincidentally bears similarities to the masterpiece Romeo and Juliet. But amidst all the horror, the friendship between different animal species takes precedence for me... like the one between a dog and a fox in my novel "The Broken Wall." In recent years, stories like "The Last Days of War" and "Illusions" have emerged, which critically engage with current developments.
