Brian W. Kelly

Brian Kelly is the most published non-fiction author in America with 290 published books. Brian is always working on a new book that will have a catchy title. Brian retired from IBM and then served as the chief technology officer (job title was Internal Consultant for MIS) at Misericordia University and later as Assistant Professor in the Business Information Technology (BIT) Program at Marywood University, where he was the IBM i and Midrange Systems Technical Advisor to the IT Faculty. Kelly designed, developed, and taught many college and professional courses.

Kelly is a former IBM Senior Systems Engineer. His specialty was problem solving for customers as well as implementing advanced operating systems and software on his client's machines. As the author of 320 plus books and hundreds of magazine articles. He has been a frequent speaker at technical conferences throughout the United States.

Brian was a candidate for the US Congress from Pennsylvania in 2010 and he ran for Mayor in his home town in 2015. He loves College and Professional Football and has written over 76 sports books. He has been a fan of Notre Dame, Penn State, Alabama, Syracuse, Florida, Clemson, LSU, Army, and Navy most of his life. He recently published books about The Philadelphia Eagles, Pittsburgh Steelers, the New England Patriots, the Kansas City Chiefs, and the Super Bowl Champions Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Brian began his writing career by writing tech books about programming, systems design, database, etc. which were published by the tech voices in the industry in the 1980's and through 2021. His IBM i (AS/400) tech books are still selling well worldwide. He also wrote a number of books about IBM the company such as Thank You, IBM, a story about the technology billionaires who stole the industry from IBM, as well as The All-Everything Machine, a book about IBM's finest computer system. Brian carried this book further as IBM continued to develop bells and whistles for its finest Operating System IBM i OS. He wrote a book titled, The All-Everything Operating System which is among his best tech books.

Recently, Brian wrote more than five children's books, a number of Patriotic books, and some great sports books such as Great Moments in Philadelphia Eagles Football, Great Moments in Alabama Football, Great Coaches in Penn State Football, and Great Players in Notre Dame Football. In the fall, 2017, he finished a book about The Birth of American Football, using those words as the title, and surprisingly, it is a best seller in Europe and Great Britain. Kelly wonders why those across the pond are so interested in American football but he is pleased for sure that they are.

In 2018, Brian finished twelve great sports books including Great Moments in Philadelphia Eagles Football; Great Coaches in Pittsburgh Steelers Football; Great Players in New England Patriots Football, and Great Moments in Syracuse Football. He also finished a number of patriotic and general interest books including God Gave Us Donald Trump, The Candidate's Bible, and Millennials Are People Too!. He also wrote four books about the Kansas City Chiefs in 2020 as well as Four books about LSU Football including Great Moments in LSU Football. In 2021, Kelly wrote four books about the world champion Tampa Bay Buccaneers and he started a Great Story series with a book titled Great Moments in College Football which preceded The Great Story of Alabama Football--up to date with National Championship information, The Great Story of Notre Dame Football, The Great Story of Clemson Football, The Great Story of Penn State Football, and others.
