My name is Robin Bee Owens. I love writing children's books with characters that children can identify with or a book with a good lesson for the children to learn.
My Dabby Series are inspired by a project that I began for the military children. The stories are their adventures with one of the dolls I crocheted. www.facebook.com/thedabbyproject.
The Swamp Fairy is a character my husband made up in a song he would sing to our youngest daughter to get her to go to sleep. I did change his character quite a bit for the story. Now available in Spanish.
The Wand is a Christian fairy tale. This started out to be a true fairy tale complete with a witch and ogre, but when I got up the next morning, I erased everything but the first paragraph. It went into a different direction and is complete with an angel. Very captivating and easy to read.
Three Children and A Blessing is about the innkeeper's daughter, husband and son. She tells her son the story of that Holy night. She was just a child the day the couple came looking for a room and stayed in the stable. The night Jesus was born. Now available in Spanish.
God's Soldier is about a Roman soldier doing as he is ordered to do. He must arrest Jesus, crucify him and then stand guard over the tomb. What happens after the resurrection that changes him? Some images may be too intense for the younger children. Also available in Spanish.
Too Many Miracles is composed of personal and eyewitness accounts of real miracles from God. There are too many miracles for anyone to convince me that there is no God.
Joseph's Journey Home is about the feeding of the multitude from the viewpoint of the lad who had the basket of three fish and five loaves. He gives what he has to Jesus and takes home more than he could even imagine.
Jason's Time with Daddy is about a three year old boy going on a walk with his dad. He finds many things in the world that he is curious about. He asks his dad the questions.
