Nancy McDonald

Nancy began her career as a journalist working on public affairs and news programs at CBC and CTV television in Toronto, Canada. She went on to become a sought-after freelance writer, penning everything from documentaries to live-action scripts to comic books. In 2018 Nancy published her first full-length novel, Boy from Berlin. The sequel, One Boy's War, came out in April 2019. Her next novel, Girl on the Run, will be released in the spring of 2021.

Nancy lives in Stratford, Ontario, where she revels in Shakespeare, takes theatregoers on tours of the Stratford Festival Costume Warehouse, and treads the boards with the Perth County Players. She also works part time at Fanfare Books, Stratford's only independent bookseller.
