Kia McInerny is an author and attorney whose special knowledge of the history of German gold bonds led to Bond Hunter. A fast-paced tale of intrigue and espionage, the novel is based upon little known facts Kia uncovered concerning Wall Street's role in financing Germany's war on Europe.

In researching Bond Hunter Kia traveled to Basel, Frankfurt and New York, and consulted experts on sovereign debt of the era.

Kia's short fiction, including The Horror of Canapés, has been featured on public radio and in literary magazines. The author's short story Zebra Sheets was a Writer's Digest award finalist. Shoe Biz, a screenplay co-written with Kristin Hornburg, is a romantic comedy in which a demeaning job selling designer shoes to Beverly Hills matrons leads an Ayn Rand-obsessed young woman to success and love.

In non-fiction, Kia's wine and travel essays have appeared in the U.K., Asia, Ireland and the U.S., and in such forums as Decanter magazine (U.K.); Silver Kris (Singapore and Asia); Lexus, and the Montecito Journal magazine.
