Alexandre S. Lang was born in Alsace, France. After discarding the idea of joining the French Air Force as a fighter pilot, he opted for the aerospace industry after obtaining a series of Bachelors’ and Master’s Degrees in Economy, International Trading, Sales & Marketing, as well as in Business Management. He has been working for large aerospace OEMs since 1997.
Written on his spare time, “Pandémie, l’Effondrement” - “Pandemic, the Collapse” - is the first book he published on Kindle Direct Publishing back in 2014. Good sales and a strong support from his worldwide fan base, as well as positive reviews in various specialized online publications incited him to write and publish a sequel, “Pandémie, Aube Rouge” - “Pandemic, Red Dawn”- in 2016. Both books have each sold in the thousands without any other advertising than positive word to mouth. Both books are currently available only in French.
Beyond aviation, Alexandre S. Lang is also fond of history, geopolitics, technology and fine arts. He is an advanced piano player with a key interest in the works of Debussy, Ravel, Fauré, Chopin and Granados. As a long fan of cinema, he was also featured in Bosilka Simonovitch’s fictional TV documentary “Comment Survivre à une attaque zombie” (“How to survive a Zombie attack”) in 2011.
As many an author, he defines himself as a European citizen of French origins. Beyond his professional duties, he is also serving the French Air & Space Force as a senior reserve officer. He is married and lives with his family near Paris, France.
