Matthew Jukes

Regarded as one of the world's leading wine experts, Matthew has been working in the wine trade since 1987. He hosts corporate and consumer wine tastings all over the world as well as writing a weekly column for MoneyWeek and the Daily Mail. With over 9 million readers each weekend, Matthew has the most keenly followed wine column in the UK.

He was voted the most influential wine writer in the UK by OLN in 2011 and was presented with the Journalism Award at the Portuguese Wine Awards in March 2013 and the English Wine Producers Communicator Award in July of the same year. He also won the highly prestigious International Wine & Spirit Competition's Trophy for Wine Communicator of the Year back in 2002. He has written the wine list for Bibendum Restaurant & Oyster Bar in London for 25 years and was the Founder and is the buyer for the private wine club Quintessentially Wine.

Matthew has written fourteen wine books, most recently '100 Most Iconic Wine Estates' which has been updated in Kindle form. He is also the Founder and Patron of Touch Wine, Wine Rules & Touch Vinnie-Yard - all raising money for homeless charities in Australia.
