Mary Buford grew up with strong Christian beliefs in a small Midwest town. She enjoys meeting readers of her books, and is happy to hear suggestions with storylines and character names. The oldest child of six, she learned to be creative in storytelling, which inspired her writing early in life. In addition to scrapbooking, journaling, reading, floral arranging, and crafting, she enjoys several forms of exercise, and going on impromptu day-trips with her family.
"Letters" is her latest book release (March 2021)! This is the story with the underlying theme, to appreciate what we have, empty the negativity, and take up kindness as a new hobby. Our lives are intermingling with one another, and we have so much to add to this world just by being ourselves. The story will warm your heart as it's setting is mid-winter in Wisconsin.
2020 saw the publishing of three books for Ms. Buford.
"The Lock Within The Key" (October 2020). It is the story within a story, which is within the story. This mystery/ghost story short read will keep you intrigued until the very end!
"Bad Habits: A Catholic Comedy" (July 2020) was written to lighten the mood with the pandemic still around us. You can expect a hearty laugh, or a slight chuckle, depending upon your perspective.
