Paul Briger

Paul H. Briger has been a corporate lawyer in New York City, an antique dealer, a furniture manufacturer in Mexico, an historian, a part-time history teacher at the middle school level, and now is a new voice in fiction and non-fiction. In addition to "I Was a Man, and Then a Dog, and Am Now a Gorilla: A Love Story," he was the author of "Briger + Briger, Comfortable & Joyous Homes," published by Rizzoli International Publications, Inc. in 2007. He is now completing his first novel called "Magritte," a tale about a magical French perfume created in 1660 as a by-product of an aphrodisiac and the people associated with it over the centuries, to be followed by a second volume also in the works. In addition, Paul is working a tri-part biography of three remarkable eighteenth century men, all of who were orphaned early in life, took great risks, and became well know in their era, but now are largely forgotten. In general, he enjoys writing and speaking about anything that catches his interest, which has too wide a range to be covered in one lifetime. He lives in Boston, Massachusetts with his wife, one of their six children, and five dogs.
