Our passions are Garden design, Interior design, collecting mid-century modern furniture, Art, Community and talking about Alzheimer's/dementia caregiving. It probably sounds like an odd combination but these are the things that drive us everyday! While caring for my grandmother for two and a half years, with dementia/Alzheimer's, we found a part of ourselves that we never knew existed. That which we thought would be confining proved to be expansive. What seems to be a small act.....remembering that they can't remember, is in fact, what begins the paradigm shift as a caregiver.
