I am a complementary therapist in Devon and reflexology is my passion. The Mouse's House came about as a way of meeting my maternity clients newborns. Having read countless children's books with my own children the idea of a book that told a story and gave a reflexology treatment was just so exciting and unique, it's not often a new concept is created. As part of the creation of The Mouse's House it was my intention to create The Children's Reflexology Programme. This is a course for parents where they can come and learn simple reflexology with their friends, or make new ones. I offer specialist training and support to new mums that don't want to go back to work so that they can develop their own business in their own time to fit in with the joy of being with their children. The beauty of it is that they can do as much or as little as they need to at this time as their children grow. There is a version of the course especially for reflexologists that has been approved by the Association of Reflexologists and Accredited by the Federation of Holistic Therapists. The course concentrates on different aspects of childhood ailments and it is my intention to create a different story for each one. This year I have extended The Children's Reflexology Programme to include parents of children with additional needs. The Children's Reflexology Programme for Additional Needs is already available for parents in some parts of the UK and the instructor courses will be available very soon too.
