Mr. Wayne E. Hanson

Wayne Edward Hanson was born in Portland, Ore., started first grade in a logging camp in Oregon's Coast Range mountains, attended the University of Oregon, where he partied a lot and joined the wrestling team. He taught special education and co-authored two textbooks, worked in the Ponape District of Micronesia, Mexico City and Stockholm, hitchhiked around Europe and to Alaska. In 1989, he became a magazine writer and editor. His most recent book is "Flyboy and the Light-Speed Rangers." a science fiction/humor story that appeared in a dream and insisted on writing itself. He is married to Jean Bevanmarquez, has three daughters and lives in Coos Bay, Oregon.
