Bill Ward

Bill is a retired Tennessee Wildlife Officer. He grew up in West Tennessee, near Jackson, and has always had a large interest in all types of firearms, but especially .22 rifles, having fired his first shots from an old Stevens single-shot bolt action. He has a B.S. degree from the University of Tennessee and an M.A. degree from Southern Illinois University. A Life Member of the NRA for over 45 years, he has published several magazine articles and two books. He has been a certified Hunter Education Instructor for over 40 years.
